A to Z / Growth hormone
Tesamorelin
Also known as Egrifta, TH9507.
What it is
Tesamorelin is a synthetic analogue of growth hormone releasing hormone, approved in the United States as Egrifta for reducing excess visceral abdominal fat in people with HIV-associated lipodystrophy.
It has a special place in this book as the only compound in the growth hormone section holding a current approval. That makes it a useful reference point for understanding CJC-1295, ipamorelin and sermorelin.
