A to Z / Growth hormone
Ipamorelin
What it is
Ipamorelin is a synthetic growth hormone secretagogue: a five-amino-acid peptide that triggers growth hormone release through the ghrelin receptor. Human research so far covers growth hormone release; it is not approved as a medicine. It is the most widely prescribed peptide in anti-ageing clinics, almost always paired with CJC-1295.
Its reputation rests on selectivity: unlike the older GHRPs, it releases growth hormone without meaningfully raising cortisol or prolactin.{{CITE:raun-1998}}
