Thymulin
Also known as FTS, facteur thymique sérique, zinc-thymulin.
What it is
Thymulin is a nine-amino-acid peptide produced by the thymus. Its biology has been studied for decades, and as a therapy it is not approved. Unusually, it is only biologically active when bound to zinc, a well-documented dependency that links zinc status directly to thymic immune function.
