Thymosin Beta-4
Also known as Tβ4, TB4, thymosin beta 4.
What it is
Thymosin Beta-4 is a 43-amino-acid protein found in almost all human cells, central to cell migration and tissue repair. It has reached human trials in dry eye disease and certain wounds, and it is not approved. TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of it. The two are often treated as interchangeable, but they are different molecules.
