Selank
Also known as tuftsin analogue, TP-7.
What it is
Selank is a seven-amino-acid peptide developed in Russia, based on tuftsin: a naturally occurring immune-modulating peptide. It comes from the same research programme that produced Semax, and is registered as a medicine in Russia for anxiety disorders. It is not approved in Western markets, where it has not yet been studied in randomised trials.
It is the anxiolytic counterpart to Semax, which is studied mainly for focus.
