What it is and what it does

Adipotide is an experimental peptide that reached primate studies and did not progress to human trials. It was designed to destroy the blood vessels that supply fat tissue, so that fat cells die from lack of blood supply. It was developed at a cancer centre using targeting principles from oncology.
